The Korea high speed train HSR350x set a new record at 330km/h
in its test run conducted on October 27 and October 28 each breaking
the previous record of 324km/h.
High speed rail engineering corps of the Korea Railroad Research
Institute has been testing the high speed train three times a week
on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between Kwangmyung and Seodaejon
track on Kyungbu line while pressing their last spurt to reach the
culminating speed of 350km/h.
Spearheaded by Korea Railroad Research Institute along with 129
sub-organizers involved, the future-oriented bullet train boasts
its local technology built in as many as 92 percents ranging from
design to induction motor to propulsion control system.
