Two students from Irkutsk State University of Railway Engineering had an internship course at KRRI from January to February of 2007. Closing their one–month internship, Alexaner Moskovskikh and Nadezhda Samokrutova had a briefing for KRRI staff at the end where they made a presentation on the overview of Russian railway and their school, ISURE. The briefing presentation came after they turned in paper on “Reliability Centered Maintenance for Korea Train eXpress” and “Estimation of dynamic characteristics of comfort in high-speed trains KTX maintenance” respectively. The two youngsters said they appreciated a variety of Korean culture experiencing new things other than their research work with KRRI researchers during their stay in Korea. They also thanked all the KRRI members who helped them throughout their internship periods during which they visited the unveiling ceremony of tilting train, LRT test track and HSR depot.
